For the last three years, I have been a volunteer artist for Via Colori, chosen among hundreds of artists around the U.S. and the world. Via Colori is a chalk painting festival held in downtown Houston in November. The proceeds of the event help sponsor the Center of Hearing at Speech, a local nonprofit that empowers children with hearing loss.
Via Colori 2019
In 2019, for “Sound and Cinema,” I created a mural from a musical scene from the family movie, Coco.
Via Colori 2018
In 2018, for “Deep in the Art of Texas” I created a new edition of the Texas state flag, complete with colors of its state symbols: the state flower, fruit, and bird.
Via Colori 2017
In 2017, I referenced vintage products of the past 70 years, following that year’s theme of “70 Years in Color.”
“Bonner Love”
I created a logo graphic for the University of Houston Bonner Leaders that was used for its t-shirt design and official newsletters.
Lobo Prep
I created this logo for the Lobo Prep, a project under the University of Houston Bonner Leaders that aims to prepare high school juniors and seniors for the SAT and college achievement.
I also made the Lobo Prep website.
